New Moon Yin Yoga

New Moon Yin Yoga in Nelson City (venue TBA)

Join Lisa Allan for two hours of deep Yin Yoga practice. We will arrive in our bodies with an initial restorative yoga pose, then we will connect with our breath through some pranayama exercises. Then we will travel through a series of deep, gentle and nurturing yin poses to detoxify the body, relax the nervous system and treat our connective tissue, finishing with a restorative pose to integrate all that we have done. The new moon is a time to get clarity, to set intentions and to prepare for the unknown newness that is unfolding in our lives. This class creates space for us to do this work and connects us to the cycles of our planet more keenly.
